The SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka builds families for orphaned, abandoned and other vulnerable children who have lost parental care. Children at the village are given a safe home, together with their siblings, and they grow up in one of the SOS families with the loving embrace of a mother who will remain as the parent for the rest of their lives and the SOS siblings.
The Anverally Team visited the house ‘Hansa’ which the organization sponsors. The house is home to eight children between the ages of 4 – 14 years. The Team spent the day with the children engaging in art and musical activities in addition to distributing Ceylon Iced Tea and goodies to all the children at the Village.
